Ken Coffee is an ordained minister and mediator with more than 40 years of experience in ministry at both the local church and at the denominational level. He has consulted with churches and pastors across the United States in the areas of church conflict and church health. He is active in the Intentional Interim Ministry through the National Intentional Interim Network and Center for Congregational Health. He lives in San Antonio with his wife, Martha.


Pete Barker is a registered architect with more than 20 years of experience and serves as one of five principals in an architectural firm in Phoenix, Arizona.  The son of a pastor, Pete has been in the church all of his life and has served as Chairman of Deacons, as well as many other administrative capacities. He also serves as a Bible teacher and mediator for his local church. A peacemaker by Spiritual gift, Pete has facilitated small groups in the "Five Principles of Unity" study. His passion for church unity is based on a belief that it is God's desire for the church and it is what best equips the church for evangelism. Pete resides in Phoenix with his wife, Shirley, and their two children.


Kelley Kimble, Chair of the Board of Directors, has served as an Associate District Judge covering six counties in South Texas since 1996.  Prior to joining the judiciary, she was in private practice in Dallas specializing in real estate and banking transactions.  Kelley is an active lay leader in both her home church, St. Philip's Episcopal Church, Uvalde and The Diocese of West Texas.  In her home church, Kelley has served on vestry and twice as Senior Warden.  Currently, Kelley is an assistant Chancellor for DWTX as well as serving on the Executive Board, the Finance Committee, Trustee for the Church Corp., and a deputy to General Convention.  Kelley is our newest Executive Board member at Christian Unity Ministries and hopes to focus on bringing the Unity discussions across denomination lines.  Kelley lives in Uvalde with her husband, Travis.  Together, they have 7 children.

 

 

Marcus W. Norris is the City Attorney of Amarillo, Texas. He has a B.S. from Hardin-Simmons University and a J.D. from St. Mary’s University. Marcus is active in both state and national municipal attorney organizations. His passion is teaching an adult Bible class at his church in Amarillo, where he also serves as a deacon and choir member. Marcus first encountered Christian Unity Ministries a few years ago, in another church which had experienced great strife. “Through the mediation efforts of Christian Unity Ministries and, the ‘Five Principles of Unity’ study, I experienced in a former church how a loving yet courageous application of God’s Word can heal deep divisions—and start revival.” Marcus resides in Amarillo with his wife, Judy and daughter, Sarah.

 

Kristi Tschoepe currently serves as a volunteer and self-employed artist.  She attended Baylor University for three years and has a B.S. degree in Art Education from Texas State University.  Kristi has over 10 years experience as a fund development director and special events coordinator for the Muscular Distrophy, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Trinity University and Bexar County Medical Society.  She has designed and created many marketing programs for the agencies with whom she has worked and for her home church in San Antonio.  Her passion is working with ministries, especially Christian Unity Ministries, and creating effective ways, with God's guidance, to educate and grow those ministries.  Kristi has one daughter and lives with her husband, Mike, in Bulverde, Texas.

 

Dr. Ann Farris, former Deputy Superintendent of Schools for the Killeen Independent School District, is a long-time friend of Christian Unity Ministries.   She is a Bible teacher and lay leader at her church in Killeen.  Ann's considerable background in the education field combines with her talents as a gifted professional trainer/facilitator, giving her much to bring to the Unity Ministries table.  She has facilitated numerous"Five Principles of Unity" groups in churches of diverse backgrounds.

 

 

Jimmy D. "Skip" Hulett, Jr. is a former State District Judge and has practiced law in Texas since 1983.  Presently serving as General Counsel for Goodman Networks, Inc., Skip is an experienced mediator and litigator. A frequent speaker for continuing legal education seminars, civic organizations, and churches, he served as President of the Jefferson County Young Lawyers Association and is a former recipient of the Outstanding Young Lawyer of Jefferson County Award.  Skip is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and is an active member of his church, presently serving as an Elder at the Nineteen Ten Church in Boerne, Texas.  He has also served as Director of Mediation & Arbitration Services for Transitional Ministries.  Skip resides in the Texas Hill Country along with his wife Susan and their three children.
